BURROWS Abstract This review highlights the importance of native pastures, and by inference range science, to the continued welfare of Queensland's grazing industries. Rangelands and range management are defined and the concepts explored as they apply to contrasting Mitchell grass and mulga ecosystems. Particular attention is given to the basic pasture resource. Some management principles applicable to rangelands in Queensland's dry tropics are listed. |
